Masterdecks (a division of the People Come First Group) builds beautiful custom decks and outdoor living spaces of all shapes and sizes across the Pacific Northwest.

The creative brief for this project called for highlighting the behind-the-scenes hustle, grit, and heart that go into each project they take on, focusing primarily on the people who do the work. In order to accomplish this, we visited multiple active job sites and used different shutter angles and off-speed frame rates to help make the spot feel dynamic. In the edit, we used quick cuts and added film grain to the construction footage to lean into the gritty vibe. The final product consisted of a 60 second spot and multiple cutdowns that aired on local TV stations as well as various placements online.
